From Ella—

Hi, I'm Ella! I am a Junior here at Clark studying Psychology, but in my free time I love to write and make photos. These photos were taken in August of 2022 when I traveled alone to Galisteo, New Mexico to see my Grandfather for the first time in many years. I found myself almost entranced by the beauty of New Mexico and how expansive the land is, sometimes it felt like the sky would swallow me. When making these photos I was seeking to document my trip and my time with my Grandfather, not knowing when I would see him next. They are intentional in the sense that they mean a lot to me, but were not planned or staged. I photographed to remember.
